I love graphic tees, and I don’t wear them enough at all – so I was delighted to write about them for my Mani Style column in Maniera Magazine’s June edition. Cheeky, arty, or funky, my top 5 places to find Graphic Tees are T-Junction, Aitui, Pink Outfitters, Arnadi and EVOKE.
EVOKE have 2 new graphic tee releases and one colour of each is only 50L until Sunday:
I simply HAD to have the gorgeous Lorelei Vest from MALT when I laid eyes on it – it’s flirty silhouette, impeccable textures, and prims like they were made just for me (no resizing required at all!) were all too irresistible! As were these jewel coloured Neha spring shorts by Zaara.
I’m sure I’m not the only one who has had trouble with prim shorts in the past with cuffs disappearing into thighs and butts and poking out all awkward when your AO changes poses… But Neha’s subtle flare rests quite happily with my AO and my poses – so yay Zaara!
I also managed to get shadows enabled on Phoenix, I know I’m slow, but these are my first images using SL shadows *squeals* and since I was feeling all flirty in springtime, I toddled over my friend Jewell’s sim Eternidad which is the new home for Distressed Textures. Jewell’s sims have always been seasonally decorated and are great backdrops for snaps 🙂 Happy flirting!
Culture Shock 2011 opens today and runs from May 1st – May 22nd. It aims to be a large and important event for the Secondlife fashion culture, celebrating trends and trendsetters within our business, and incorperating music and art, all with reflections of our own personal first life cultures depicted in our creations.
It is brought to you by CHIC Management (www.chic-management.com) and sponsored by Modavia Productions who will be providing exclusive coverage of some of the new designs available at the event on their blog – http://www.modaviafashionmarketing.com/wordpress – in the lead up to, and duration of, the event.
50% of all proceeds from SwanSong items go to the charity: Médecins Sans Frontières.
